Job summary

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a security professional to enforce policies, patrol the property, and respond to emergencies. The role requires strong customer service, clear reporting, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, possess a valid driver's license, and be available weekends and holidays. Training and a supportive team culture are provided at this Scottsdale property.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules and policies with respect and professionalism.

• Patrol designated areas and respond to alarms.
• Render aid in medical emergencies and coordinate EMS.
• Operate CCTV for investigations.
• Assist Director of Security with other duties.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Starts at $19.00 per hour, (3) 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm)

• Enforce rules and policies with respect and professionalism.
• Resolve conflicts with the use of de-escalation techniques.
• Analyze situations accurately and implement an effective course of action.
• Clearly communicate incident details with management.
• Create accurate incident/accident reports as necessary.
• Identify and investigate suspicious behavior and irregular activity.
• Conduct Foot Patrols of designated areas.
• Respond to alarms and requests for assistance.
• Respond to medical emergencies, render aid, and relay information to EMS.
• Utilize CCTV systems for investigations and surveillance.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Security.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
• Must be able to provide full availability shifts are typically 7:00AM - 7:00PM, including weekends, and holidays. Availability to assist with overnight shifts preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and report writing.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
