Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, document entries, issue badges, and follow site protocols.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving actions and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas and perimeter to report unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and daily activity records per site procedures.

As a Security Officer - Full Time Day Entry Verification in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing badges or passes, and following site access protocols.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access concerns.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and daily activity records in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
