Security Officers shall be responsible for activities necessary to ensure the stability and safety of patients, staff members, and visitors, in accordance with regulations and policies of the Security Department.
High school or equivalent (GED). Associate's degree preferred.
Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver's license.
Certification required within 30 days of hire: Management of Aggressive Behavior, Forensic Restraints (handcuffs), Conductive Energy Weapon (C.E.W.), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience as a Healthcare Security Officer, Corrections Officer, Police Officer, Military, or Behavioral Health preferred. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for experience. Required skills include crisis management, de-escalation, conflict resolution, customer service, diverse social interaction, quick decision-making, report writing, understanding directives, and computer competency.
