Security Officers are responsible for activities necessary to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors, in accordance with security regulations and policies.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). An Associate's degree is preferred.
Valid New Hampshire Driver's license required. Certifications needed within 30 days of hire include Management of Aggressive Behavior, Forensic Restraints, Conductive Energy Weapon (C.E.W.), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience as a Healthcare Security Officer, Corrections Officer, Police Officer, Military, or Behavioral Health is preferred. Candidates with relevant degrees may be considered without security experience. Skills required include crisis management, de-escalation, conflict resolution, customer service, and report writing.
