Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a dynamic Patrol team as a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Buffalo, NY. You will monitor and safeguard clients, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will perform patrols, verify credentials, respond to incidents calmly, and complete shift reports for site leadership.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking, loading docks, access points, and perimeter; report hazards and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations; follow emergency procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, loading docks, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific policies, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit for authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and provide information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
