Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and vehicles entering or leaving the site; maintain records.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems and report security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site leadership and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Management in Theodore, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor and badge access, and documenting activity. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help to deter incidents while supporting efficient site operations. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Tue 02:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Wed 02:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Thur 02:00 AM - 10:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location; maintain accurate visitor and vehicle access records.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
