As a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Financial Building in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, assisting with access control and maintaining accurate logs as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
