Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Clinical Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.


• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access control procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.


• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and respecting patient privacy.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.


• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
