Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials; manage visitor registration and access-control records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access per site requirements and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate details to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, parking facilities, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Full Time Building Access Control in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shifts

Pay Rate: $20.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Mon 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive manufacturing location; verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain access-control records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and contractor access in accordance with site requirements, escalating unauthorized-access concerns through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help identify access-control concerns or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
