Qualifications

• Background investigation will be conducted as per law.
• Driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Coordinator in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking facilities, loading docks, office spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
