The role emphasizes professional service, incident response, and confidentiality in a dynamic security environment. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, at a rate of $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Proficiency with a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming front-desk presence for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a financial institution location.
• Verify visitor identity, follow site-specific access procedures, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Monitor access activity, receive calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and provide calm, problem-solving communication with site contacts and responders.
• Support security procedures and site policies while maintaining confidentiality.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems Desk in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for employees and visitors. You will manage access control, support badge-related processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

Candidates must be informed about the access control systems in place and any prior experience they may need regarding badge usage. Emails should include:

• A brief overview of the access control system.
• Instructions on how to obtain a badge.
• Any necessary training or orientation related to badge usage.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

It is essential to assess candidates' comfort levels with technology. Emails should include:

What You'll Do

• Provide a professional, welcoming front-desk presence for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a financial institution location.
• Verify visitor identity, follow site-specific access procedures, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs and records.
• Monitor access activity, receive incoming calls, and direct visitors and inquiries to appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
