Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and contractors per site procedures and direct traffic as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as required by procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and parking to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Full-Time - Badge Processor in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
