Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Data Center Facility in Goodyear, AZ. You will patrol, deter incidents, provide customer service, and report security concerns while upholding a secure environment.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. You will follow site post orders, assist visitors and employees, and coordinate with site leadership to maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report per post orders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel and drivers.
• Document incidents and observations and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer - Data Center Facility in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking locations, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
