As a Security Officer - Warehouse Access in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel, drivers, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
