Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Support in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
