• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; support access-control procedures and directions to clinical areas.
• Maintain awareness of hospital operations and treat all individuals with professionalism and discretion.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and assist with directions to clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Maintain awareness of hospital operations, including emergency department and patient-care areas, while treating all individuals with professionalism, respect, and discretion.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
