Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Incident Command in Charlotte, NC. The role involves protecting clients in financial institutions, conducting armed patrols, monitoring access, and responding to emergencies with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour. Job Schedule: Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, vendor, and employee activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, vendor, and employee activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
