Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Fairfax, VA. You will provide armed security, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies in a healthcare setting, delivering professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, armed license, Virginia DCJS license, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time daytime position with competitive pay.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with facility personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Virginia DCJS license.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
