Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Response in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional support as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
