As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Monitoring in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional, welcoming presence while helping to deter incidents through attentive observation and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and reporting access irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security‑related concerns, unauthorized access, or facility issues.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and access‑control documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
