Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Sanford, NC to monitor and protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial environments. You will maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service.

This full-time role offers a daytime to evening schedule with a pay rate of $11.00 per hour. A background check and drug screening are required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.
