Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Sanford, NC. You will patrol and monitor a manufacturing/industrial site, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers weekend night shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within a leading security company. A high school diploma is required and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer or tablet use is preferred.
• CPR and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at a manufacturing/industrial location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents and communicate with leadership and contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Pay Rate: $11.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized persons or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
