Job summary

Allied Universal® in Sanford, NC is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow site security procedures; assist emergency responses as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns and critical situations.
• Patrol manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter; report anomalies.
• Monitor access points; verify entry and report unauthorized persons.
• Document incidents and daily activities; brief Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized persons or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
