Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - Access Routine in Summerville, SC. You will protect client sites across logistics and distribution by performing unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across warehouse areas, loading docks, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, documenting observations per site policies.
• Assist in the orderly movement of employees, drivers, visitors, and deliveries while monitoring operations.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Access Routine in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wed: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related observations and incidents in accordance with site policies.
• Support the orderly movement of employees, drivers, visitors, and deliveries while maintaining awareness of facility operations and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
