Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be completed per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel per site access-control procedures and emergencies as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and logs, maintain visitor/contractor logs, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will monitor access activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service while using computer or tablet systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.


• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries at a food and beverage distribution location in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
