Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Desk in Pasadena, TX to safeguard clients across tech/telecom environments. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain visitor records while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor check-in requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records; issue and collect visitor badges and coordinate with site contacts as required.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
