Qualifications

• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain access logs as per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and escalations through established channels.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Support a secure environment for a financial institution by following security procedures and directing visitors.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Support a professional, controlled environment within a financial institution by following security-related procedures and providing clear directions to authorized visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
