Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Checkpoint Operations in Minooka, IL. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations at an industrial location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by enforcing access control procedures.
• Monitor and manage access points by verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals.
• Observe traffic, deliveries, and contractor activity; report suspicious activity to site leadership.
• Respond to access-related incidents calmly and follow site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, entryways, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
