Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Customer Service in Fremont, CA. You will monitor designated areas, patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while representing a professional, reliable security team.

Requirements include 1 year security experience, high school diploma, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen; CPR certification preferred. This role offers daytime to evening schedule and pay rate of $22.52 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
