Allied Universal in Moncks Corner, SC is looking for a Security Officer Full Time Access Control to safeguard clients at an automotive facility. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive facility while following security procedures.
• Control access by verifying credentials, processing entries, and maintaining access records.
• Monitor entry/exit points, gates, and designated areas to deter unauthorized entry and manage traffic flow.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly; document observations and report concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entries, maintaining access records, and communicating access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and designated access areas to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, business operations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
