As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery vehicles at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for access to restricted areas; maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
