Allied Universal in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Security Officer – Electronic Access Systems. In this full-time role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and deliver professional customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access records, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles as needed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, drivers, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while preparing accurate reports and maintaining professional documentation.
