Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time on the 3rd shift in North Chicago, IL to protect clients across healthcare and other sectors. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

This healthcare-driven role requires a valid driver’s license for driving posts and strong computer skills. The position offers a daytime-to-night shift schedule with pay at $19.80 per hour, and is full-time.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, labs, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management.
• Document incidents and patrol activities in required reports.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
