As a Security Officer Full-Timein Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a government location. You will monitor access, assist with badge-related processes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government buildings, public-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity to help deter unauthorized entry and support compliance with site access procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
