Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, with a pay rate of $20.73 per hour and a platform to claim additional shifts.

You’ll provide excellent customer service, perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain clear reports in a welcoming, professional environment.

Qualifications

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements; document entries, exits, and security-related incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
