Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Radiographic Screening in Indianapolis, IN, to protect clients across industries including Logistics & Distribution. You will screen people, packages, and materials, monitor areas, and report concerns while delivering professional customer service on a fast-paced site.

This full-time role requires compliance with screening procedures, shift work, and the ability to stay vigilant.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct screening of individuals, packages, parcels, and/or belongings in accordance with established procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials, documentation, and/or shipping-related information as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Radiographic Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help maintain smooth operations. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Day Time

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
