Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Evansville, IN. This unarmed role involves monitoring, patrolling, access control, and customer service to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites.

You will work a full-time schedule with diverse evening and weekend shifts, and must meet minimum age and diploma requirements, plus pass background and drug screenings as required by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unauthorized activity, and other security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly workplace by reporting hazards, damaged property, unauthorized activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
