Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and provide customer-focused assistance while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and check credentials for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and security-related incidents, responding to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift activity records as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
