Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Elgin, IL is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests, Team Members and casino assets. You will monitor activity, respond to incidents, and uphold safety policies across the property.

Requires 21+ years, a valid driver’s license, High School Diploma/GED, ability to obtain an Illinois Gaming License, and prior security experience preferred. This full-time role includes background checks and pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of guests and fellow Team Members.
• Provide security protection for guests, pavilion and casino property.
• Assist with monetary transactions between the casino cage, gaming tables and slots in compliance with ICS rules and management requirements.
• Comply with Underage Gaming, Responsible Gaming and Liquor Control regulations.
• Assist injured guests and employees.
• Be alert and react promptly to suspicious persons or disturbing incidents on property.
• React promptly to disturbances on the footprint of the property as required.
• Make every attempt to keep duties discreet and confidential.
• Drive company vehicle as needed.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The position of Security Officer ensures the safety of company assets and the welfare of guests and Team Members.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

Provide security protection for guests, pavilion and casino property.

Assist with all monetary transactions between the casino cage, gaming tables and slots in compliance with IC S and as required by management.

Comply with Underage Gaming, Responsible Gaming and Liquor Control regulations.

Assist injured guests and employees.

Be alert and react promptly to suspicious persons or disturbing incidents on property.

Make every attempt to keep your duties discreet and confidential.

• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

What You Will Need

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Must be able to obtain & maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.

• Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk during shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds.
• Requires bending, stooping pushing, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
• Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.

Salary Range: $17.50-$18.25 per hour (Depending on experience)
