Job summary

Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, staff and property. You will respond to emergencies, monitor incidents, and patrol the grounds to ensure a safe environment.

The role requires a valid California Driver's License, Guard Card, and weekend/holiday availability; prior hotel security experience is preferred. Evans Hotels offers health benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• Must have an unexpired and valid driver's license with no recent violations.
• Guard Card (California only) required.
• RBS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responds quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies, acts of violence, or other incidents.
• Assists with communication over internal phone, paging and radio systems.
• Surveys the hotel property by active patrol or CCTV monitors.
• Ensures proper reporting procedures are undertaken for any qualifying incident.
• Enforces safe work practices and supports leadership in emergencies.
• Performs additional duties as directed by the leadership team.
