Securitas, Inc. is seeking a full-time Security Officer to maintain a safe environment in Austin, MN. The role involves monitoring premises, managing access, and patrolling multiple locations while enforcing site regulations for personnel and visitors.

The position requires strong customer service, calm decision-making under pressure, and the ability to respond effectively during emergencies. Pre-employment screening applies, and CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Above average computer/tech skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and be vigilant.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid/ effective judgment and escalation.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
