Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in St. Paul, MN is seeking an experienced Security Officer for part-time shifts.

The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling multiple client sites to maintain safety and security. You will perform post orders, respond calmly to incidents, report hazards, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors. This position requires 1 year of security experience and a HS diploma or GED, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and remain vigilant during shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including urinalysis drug screen and 10 year background investigation.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Previous law enforcement / military experience preferred.
• CPR and FA certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Wage Range:$21.90-$25.25/HR

Available Schedules:

• Sat - Sun: 1400 - 2200
• Fri: 0830 - 1730 & Sat: 0830 - 1330
• Sun - Thurs: 2200 - 0600 (Temp)

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
