Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Front Office in El Paso, TX. You will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and deliver outstanding customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications office.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications office location by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing guests appropriately.
• Verify visitor access in accordance with site‑specific policies, including checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and notifying hosts of arrivals.
• Monitor front desk activity, access points, and available security‑related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional lobby environment by maintaining accurate records, communicating clearly with employees and visitors, and carrying out assigned security‑related procedures.
