Allied Universal, a leading security provider, is hiring a Front Desk Security Officer in Manchester, NH. This part-time role involves welcoming visitors, controlling access, and maintaining a secure, professional front desk environment in a technology-oriented setting.

You will use computer/tablet systems, support visitor management, and deliver excellent customer service while coordinating with onsite teams. Training and growth opportunities are available through our Shift program.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and departure records in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional front desk environment by answering phones, directing guests, coordinating with onsite contacts, and completing required activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
