Allied Universal, Lake Mary, FL, is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Registration. You will greet visitors, manage access control, badge processes, monitor entry, and provide exceptional customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

This full-time role pays $16.53 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles, background check, and drug screen; prior guard card/badge experience is preferred.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Registration in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, confirming appointments, and directing guests in accordance with site‑specific access procedures.
• Monitor visitor entry and departure, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs and related documentation.
• Support security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor front‑desk communications, receive deliveries, and report suspicious activity, access concerns, or facility issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access Control or Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
