Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Visitor Registration at a retail site. You will welcome visitors, verify access, issue passes, and maintain accurate visitor records while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor access points and security systems, respond to incidents calmly, and communicate with site management. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to explore additional shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Manage front desk operations by greeting and directing visitors, verifying access credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from a stationary front desk post; report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain clear communication with site management, employees, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
