Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Front Desk Driver Visitor Reception role in Syracuse, NY. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security systems, and provide exceptional customer service at a utilities location.

Position type is Full Time with a daytime schedule. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and you must pass a background check and drug screen per policy.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a front desk location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Welcome employees, contractors, and visitors; verify access authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with directing visitors, answering routine inquiries, and supporting a professional, service-oriented environment at a utilities location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
