Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY. The role focuses on safeguarding clients, patrolling facilities, and providing exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff.

You will hold a valid NY driver’s license and a NYS Security Guard License, perform unarmed patrols at healthcare locations, and respond calmly to incidents while following procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
