Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Security in Omaha, NE to provide a welcoming, professional presence and manage access control, visitor management, and security communications at a logistics location. This full-time role emphasizes customer service and incident response.

You will maintain logs, greet visitors, verify credentials, and support site operations, contributing to a safe and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Monitor visitor, driver, and delivery activity at the entrance, maintain accurate logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow established reporting procedures.
• Assist with access control and reception-related communications to help support orderly operations at a logistics and distribution location.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
