Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Front Desk Monitor in Omaha, NE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients in a professional commercial real estate lobby environment while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and vendor entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, and security-related communications, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, provide directions and general building information, and support access-related requests for tenants, vendors, and authorized visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
